Coach Gaboury, a native of Connecticut., comes to Rocky Hill High School by way of Wesleyan University where he coached there for 6 years. During that time he assisted Drew Black in reviving a struggling program.

In 1993 Coach Gaboury was a Connecticut State Open placer for New Milford High School. After high school Coach Gaboury attended Springfield College where he earned a bachelors in Psychology in 1997 and in 2000 he earned a masters in Industrial/Organizational Pychology. Along the way he captained one of the top Division III wrestling programs in the country. Coach Gaboury was a two time New England Champion at HWT two time National Qualifier and 1998 NCAA Division III All-American. Three times in Coach Gaboury's carrer he was named to the Scholar All-American Wrestling Team. Currently Coach Gaboury resides in Wethersfield with his wife Erin and beautiful twins (Alden and Chloe) and works in Hartford for Conning and Company, an asset management firm.
